Brad Ahern

M.A., LAC, Clinician

My life’s work has always been to help others along their journey. Therapy is just another form of that work. My objective is to listen with an open mind and heart while being a guide on the client’s path to transformative growth.

Brad Ahern, M.A., LAC obtained his bachelor’s degree in English from Montclair State University. He also obtained a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Felician University and is a Doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at Felician University. Brad has foundational training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as well as Mindfulness Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Brad is experienced in performance psychology and treating issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and others through group and individual psychotherapy. He has experience working in Neuropsychology with various assessments training in addition to working in other environments such as involuntary psychiatric settings and school counseling. His idea on therapy is that it is a way to take a look inward on the things in which may need extra attention. With this new focus of insight can come great growth and understanding of the self. The idea is to then develop skills and practice that will enable us to become a better version of ourselves each and every day.
